If you hang on to an image for long enough, one day there will be a space that screams out for it. How these things happen is beyond me. I just trust it will be OK and normally it’s better!
A snip can mean different things to different people.
It can be painful, life changing, gratifying, image altering or just trimming dead flowers from a rose bush.
It’s no different when it comes to collage. You snip away to assemble a heap of images and from it emerges a composition that offers as many interpretations as all the other snips in your life.
