Free form is going where the feeling takes you or the paint/ink/medium decides where it would rather be. Sometimes you’re right, but too often the paint has a better sense of where it has to go for the ‘perfect’ image.
The pen is mightier than the sword and yet you need to have a pin to extract a winkle.
It’s a bit like a brush.
Somehow it penetrates my innermost thoughts and finds a way of putting them on paper. The glory, if you can call it that, is that everyone sees something different in my images, so I paint one thing and you get a different message or sometimes see several things which is really satisfying because everyone is happy.
